At Slash Lazy J Ranch Horses LLC, we are passionate about training horses for ranch and performance work. Our program focuses on starting and training horses for the everyday cowboy as well as the folks that love cowhorse events in the arena.
About Our Program
Our program was originally started to train colts to became solid and well mannered ranch horses for the working cowboy by a working cowboy.
Recently, we have had the opportunity to work in the performance world training cow horses under a professional Cow Horse trainer and we are excited to offer training more of the Cowhorse disciplines.
Training programs will all begin the same and clients will have the option to choose how witch discipline they want their horses to go. We understand that each client will have varying needs which can be discussed, but we require a 60 day minimum. This is necessary for adequate groundwork and allows the horse to retain what they are learning. Check out our Rates and Packages to learn more!
